Bundoora Dam – Middlemount Qld 4746

A great free camp on the banks of Bundoora dam, with gently sloping grassy sites.

Bundoora 2Bundoora DamThis dam is a popular spot in warm weather and can get quite busy, however there is plenty of room.  Some shady spots can be had, although most of the area is fairly open.

There is good fishing (especially for redclaw cray fish) and easy access for launching a kayak.  A good quality gravel boat ramp is also provided for power boats.
