Another great spot to visit near Mackay Qld 4740
Eungella National Park is a pleasant day outing from Mackay Queensland.
There are numerous points of interest as you follow the Pioneer River on the drive out to Eungella National Park. Pack a picnic lunch or enjoy the hospitality at the Broken River Kiosk. There are a couple of spots for smoke on the way to or from Enugella and it is a bit of a climb once there and not suitable for big rigs. Campers and smaller caravans are often encountered on this climb / descent. A subtropical rainforest with an abundance of native flora and funa. A highlight is spotting a Platypus in Broken River.
- Dame Nellie Melba House
